Stone & Magnanini Partner Amy Walker Wagner was a co-presenter for the BNA live CLE webinar “Electronically Stored Information and Competence: What An Attorney Must Know and How to Learn It” held on May 27, 2015. The panel’s presentation focused on the multiple areas of an attorney’s practice that are impacted by electronically store information (“ESI”) and how an attorney can competently manage it. The panel offered guidance on topics relating to ESI such as understanding what questions to ask of clients, co-counsel, adversaries, vendors and experts in litigation, how to communicate with your client and others when engaged in transactional practice, the maintenance of confidential communications and avoidance of waiver of privilege, and issues regarding attorney advertising and the use of the Internet and social media when dealing with third parties and the public.
