Mr. Barnett-Howell’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including intellectual property, antitrust, and international disputes, among others. While at Stone & Magnanini, Mr. Barnett-Howell has litigated numerous qui tam matters across the United States, involving national defense contractors, major financial institutions, and multi-state healthcare providers. Mr. Barnett-Howell has also represented major manufacturers in antitrust and trademark actions, and provided internal compliance and regulatory assistance for national corporations.
Prior to joining Stone & Magnanini, Mr. Barnett-Howell worked with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office—Medicaid Fraud Bureau, where he helped investigate and prosecute a prescription drug smuggling ring. Mr. Barnett-Howell is also proud of his previous work for the Wisconsin Innocence Project, and he was part of a team that successfully overturned an improperly-obtained conviction for a prisoner serving a life sentence in Michigan.
